Refund & Cancellation Policy

Contributions to Aadyah are voluntary donations rather than payments for goods or services. This policy explains how we handle a refund request.

Requesting a refund

If you have made a contribution in error, or in an amount you did not intend, write to info@aadyah.org within fifteen days of the transaction with the date, the amount and the reference from your receipt. We will process eligible refunds to the original payment method within ten working days.

After fifteen days

Beyond fifteen days we are generally unable to refund, because contributions are committed to programme budgets shortly after they are received. If your circumstances have changed materially, write to us anyway and we will look at it properly rather than quoting this paragraph back to you.

Recurring contributions

A monthly contribution can be cancelled at any time and takes effect before the next scheduled deduction. Write to us, or use the cancellation link in your receipt. Contributions already collected are treated under the fifteen-day rule above.

Failed or duplicate transactions

If a payment fails but an amount has left your account, or if you have been charged twice for the same contribution, write to us with the transaction reference. Duplicate and failed-transaction amounts are refunded in full, and no fifteen-day limit applies to them.

Receipts and tax

Every contribution is receipted. Where a contribution has been refunded, any receipt issued for it is cancelled and must not be used for a tax claim.
