Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read.
Who we are
Aadyah Wellness Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered as a Section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013. We are the data fiduciary for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@aadyah.org.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us through a form on this site — your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and whatever you write in the message field. We do not buy data, and we do not collect anything about you from other sources.
- Enquiry and partnership forms: name, organisation, role, email, phone, location and your message.
- Volunteer applications: the above plus city, availability and experience.
- Newsletter: your email address only.
- Site analytics: aggregate, cookieless page-view counts that cannot identify you.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to assess a partnership or a volunteer application, and to send you the newsletter if you asked for it. Nothing else. We do not profile you, we do not build a marketing database, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone under any circumstances.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and messages: three years from your last contact with us, then deleted. Volunteer applications: two years, unless you join us. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any letter we send.
Who processes it
Our website host, our form and email delivery provider, and our analytics provider. Each processes data on our instructions only. Where a provider is outside India, transfers are made under that provider's standard contractual protections.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless and count page views in aggregate without identifying anyone, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time. Write to info@aadyah.org and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen through it. Information about children gathered in our programme work is governed by our safeguarding and child protection policy, not by this one, and is never published without informed consent from the child and their guardian.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the foot of this page. Material changes will be described rather than quietly made.
